Who makes Zone, and how it came to the UK
Zone is made in Sweden by Skruf Snus AB, a company owned by Imperial Brands. Imperial Brands launched Zone in the UK in November 2025, after the Swedish launch earlier that year. Skruf is the sister brand from the same company. Our article What Is Skruf? tells you who founded Skruf Snus AB.
If you want to try multiple Zone flavours, the Zone Mixpack holds five cans: Berry Blast, Cool Mint, Juicy Peach, Sweet Mint and Watermelon Ice.
Zone flavours: two mint, three fruit
Our Zone range has five flavours, and every one of them comes in the same slim pouch at the same strength.
Mint
- Cool Mint: Zone Cool Mint Ultra is a fresh, clean mint.
- Sweet Mint: Zone Sweet Mint Ultra adds sweetness to the mint, closer to a peppermint sweet.
Fruit
- Berry Blast: Zone Berry Blast Ultra blends raspberry, strawberry and blueberry.
- Juicy Peach: Zone Juicy Peach Ultra tastes of ripe peach, with soft floral notes.
- Watermelon Ice: Zone Watermelon Ice Ultra is watermelon with an icy finish. Ice in the name describes that cooling note, not a different strength.
Zone names: Ultra and the numbers No. 4 to No. 54
Ultra appears in the name of all five Zone cans we stock, and each holds 11mg of nicotine per pouch. Elsewhere you may see those same cans called Ultra Strong or Extra Strong. The maker and many shops also give each flavour a number. The numbers have changed: Cool Mint was No. 5 before it became No. 4, and the other four flavours moved down by one in the same way.
| We call it | Other names |
|---|---|
| Zone Cool Mint Ultra | No. 4 Cool Mint, earlier No. 5 Cool Mint |
| Zone Sweet Mint Ultra | No. 14 Sweet Mint, earlier No. 15 Sweet Mint |
| Zone Berry Blast Ultra | No. 24 Berry Blast, earlier No. 25 Berry Blast |
| Zone Juicy Peach Ultra | No. 34 Juicy Peach, earlier No. 35 Juicy Peach |
| Zone Watermelon Ice Ultra | No. 54 Watermelon Ice, earlier No. 55 Watermelon Ice |
If a shop lists Zone No.5 Cool Mint Ultra, it is the can we call Zone Cool Mint Ultra.
How strong is Zone snus: 10mg, 11mg or 17mg?
At 11mg of nicotine per pouch, or 16mg per gram, every Zone can we stock has one strength. Mg per pouch tells you what one pouch contains, so it is the figure to compare with other brands. The maker also makes Zone at 10mg and at 17mg per pouch; the cans we carry are the 11mg versions.
For a lower or higher strength from the same company, our Skruf range covers 5 to 17mg per pouch.
Every Zone can we carry
Below are all 5 Zone cans we stock, each with its flavour family. All five are slim, with 20 pouches per can, 11mg per pouch and 16mg per gram.
| Product | Flavour family |
|---|---|
| Zone Berry Blast Ultra | Fruit |
| Zone Cool Mint Ultra | Mint |
| Zone Juicy Peach Ultra | Fruit |
