What is RUSH? RUSH Nicotine Pouches Explained

RUSH is a brand of tobacco-free nicotine pouches made by Dholakia Tobacco in India. At Europesnus it comes in three lines, Light, Pro and Extreme, and all 19 products are slim cans of 20 pouches.

The name is the confusing part. Other shops list RUSH in other strengths, and four of the products here go by second names elsewhere, so it helps to separate what we carry from what you may have seen.

RUSH is made by Dholakia Tobacco in India, a family-owned company that began with snuff and chewing tobacco. Its chief executive has said it exports to more than 35 countries, and its website lists snuff, snus, chewing tobacco and nicotine pouches.

The pouches themselves contain no tobacco. The same maker sells Paz, another nicotine pouch line, and Paz has its own collection here, so the two are separate brands from one company.

Light, Pro and Extreme are the whole system: the word is part of the product name, and it sets the strength. Light holds 4 mg per pouch, Pro 11 mg and Extreme 21 mg, so the level is read from the name.

The position of the level word moves around. Light always follows Rush, Rush Pro Classic Cola and Rush Pro Peach Ice put Pro first, the other eight Pro products put it last, and all three Extreme products end in Extreme. Search by flavour rather than by word order.

Some shops list Mango Ice Pro as Mango Freeze and Nordic Peppermint Pro as Nordic Frost. Others list Blueberry Ice Pro as Berry Ice and Spearmint Pro as Green Mint. We use the titles in our catalogue, and all four are Pro products at 11 mg per pouch.

Those second names matter when you compare shops, because the same flavour word can sit at another strength elsewhere. Some shops also list strengths other than the three we carry, so compare mg per pouch before you compare names.

There are 12 flavour names across the 19 products. Grape Ice and Peppermint Ice exist in all three lines, and Mango Ice, Blueberry Ice and Watermelon Ice in Light and Pro. Five flavours are Pro only, Wintergreen is Light only and Cherry Ice is Extreme only, so for seven of the 12 names the flavour already decides the strength.

Eight of the 12 names end in Ice, which makes the word a poor guide. The four that do not are Classic Cola, Nordic Peppermint, Spearmint and Wintergreen; the first three are Pro and Wintergreen is Light.

Per gram, RUSH Pro sits where Killa does: 16 mg per gram, the level of every Killa product. RUSH Light is lower at 5.7 mg per gram and RUSH Extreme is higher at 30 mg per gram.

Per pouch the gap is clearer, since Killa's highest is 13.2 mg, RUSH Extreme holds 21 mg and RUSH Light holds 4 mg, less than any Killa product. If you are comparing cans across the two brands, per pouch is the number to use. The Killa collection has its full table.
