Skruf is a Swedish snus brand made by Skruf Snus AB in Sävsjö, and at Europesnus it means eleven tobacco-free nicotine pouches in two lines, Superwhite and Intense. The name is easy to confuse with its numbers, which look like strengths and are only labels.
Both, depending on the product. Skruf Snus AB makes tobacco snus, including names such as Stark White, and it makes tobacco-free nicotine pouches, which are the only part of Skruf that we carry.
When another site sells Skruf as snus, check whether the product is a portion with tobacco or a nicotine pouch. Every Skruf product here is a tobacco-free pouch in slim format.
Superwhite is the larger line, nine products with numbers from 52 to 71 in mint, blackcurrant, blackberry and apple flavours. Intense is the smaller one, two products named Peppermint Ice 005 and Peppermint Ice 008.
| Line | Products | Names or numbers | Flavours | Pouches per can |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Superwhite | 9 | No. 52 to No. 71 | Fresh Mint, Frozen Mint, Fresh Freeze, Purple Cassice, Indigo Berry, Fresh Apple | 24 |
| Intense | 2 | Peppermint Ice 005 and 008 | Peppermint Ice | 20 |
Strength and the full product list belong to the Skruf collection, which shows mg per pouch and mg per gram for every product. What matters here is that the two lines differ in name and can size, and that neither contains tobacco.
Some Skruf pouches are known under two names. The same three Fresh Mint pouches are called Fresh #2, #3 and #4 in Skruf's own range and No. 52, 53 and 54 in the export range, so a search for either name leads to the same product.
Skruf also uses a five-point Styrka scale of its own. It is a third label, and it does not replace the mg figures, which are the numbers to compare.
The same maker stands behind Knox, Smålands Brukssnus, X All White and ZONE. ZONE has its own collection here, and Skruf's own site lists the rest as separate product lines.
For the company's history, its owners and the way its three naming systems fit together, read the Skruf brand guide.
We carry 11 Skruf products: nine in Superwhite and two in Intense, all in slim format. A Superwhite can holds 24 pouches and an Intense can holds 20.
