Killa x Pablo: Strength, Formats and Shared Flavours

Killa and Pablo come from the same Danish maker and share 16 flavour names, which is why the two get mixed up. The difference is strength, and it runs both ways.

N.G.P Tobacco ApS makes both, and its own site names Killa and Pablo as its two main brands. The company started production in Aalborg, has its headquarters in Haverslev, and describes itself as operating in more than 45 countries.

Killa is made in Denmark, not in Sweden. The maker's site says both brands were redesigned in 2024 towards a cleaner, more modern white pouch identity, and the pouches contain no tobacco.

The number that separates the two brands is per gram. Within Killa it does not move, so the brand name tells you most of what you need. Within Pablo the line name does that job.

Silver Edition sits just below the Killa standard, at 10 mg per pouch against 11.2 mg. From Gold upwards every Pablo line holds more than any Killa: 24 mg/g at Gold, 30 at the Ice Cold family and 50 at Exclusive, more than three times the 16 of Killa.

16 flavour names exist in both ranges, among them Cold Mint, Grape Ice, Mango Ice, Cherry Cola, Tropical Punch and Strawberry Cheesecake. The name stays the same; the strength does not.

Take Grape Ice: Killa holds 11.2 mg per pouch, while Pablo has it at 10, 17 and 30 mg in three lines. So if you switch between the brands by flavour, check the line name as well.

Cold Mint and Spearmint are the two shared names where Killa comes out ahead. At Pablo both names exist only as Silver Edition, at 10 mg per pouch and 14.5 mg per gram, against 13.2 and 11.2 mg per pouch and 16 mg per gram at Killa.

Across the whole Pablo range, nine products hold 13.2 mg per pouch or less, and all nine are Silver Edition. The other 53 hold more than the strongest Killa.
